In addition to serving as a conduit to existing resources and activities of interest to member organizations and its members, CAAO is market driven and changes it programs to fit the current needs of its constituents and the community at large.

CAAO’s programming focuses on “access” to the resources needed to succeed, and its current programs include:  An Informative Website, Business Development, Coaching, Leadership Retreat, and the Youth Innovation Forum.

However, for years 2010 through 2011, CAAO led a pilot program in collaboration with ULGC and NOMSDC called the STRIDE Initiative which focused on job retention and job creation.  We look forward to sharing the outcomes of that collaborative initiative in 2012.

In addition, CAAO recently coordinated and hosted an entrepreneurial roundtable on the Affordable Care Act for the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius.
