| Description |
| Develop and implement the Women Faculty Leadership Development Initiative, which will support and enhance leadership development among women faculty across the campus. Responsibility includes establishing a faculty advisory group, planning and executing faculty development workshops, speaker programs, networking events, and other aspects of the program. Involves collaboration with the ACES+ team, Weatherhead Executive Education, Faculty Senate Committees, the Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity, Human Resources, and other units as the need arises.
The purpose of the initiative is to develop and institutionalize a program of leadership development for women faculty so that they will be able to advance to administrative leadership positions in their institutions and in their academic fields.

| Qualifications |
| REQUIREMENTS
Experience
3 to 5 years related experience in academia as a faculty member or working with faculty in some capacity
3 to 5 years experience in event planning and coordination and implementing events
Education/Licensing
Masters degree in relevant field required. Degree may be in a field such as a Management, Non-Profit Management, Social Work, Womens Studies, Sociology, but persons with other degrees are welcome to apply
Essential Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of the hurdles faced by women faculty
Demonstrated knowledge of the leadership skills needed for success in academia
Demonstrated knowledge of the role of gender in social relations in institutions
Demonstrated knowledge of the linkages between womens leadership skills, self-esteem, assertiveness, and emotional intelligence
Ability to facilitate group planning, aiding the group in reaching consensus
The ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
Excellent time and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to in work with diverse groups of individuals, including diversity in age, race, gender, sexual orientation and gender expression, educational attainment, and position of employment
Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to take leadership as well as carry out mundane organizing tasks and office tasks
The ability to work under pressure in a very busy environment and to manage multiple assignments that overlap in time
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Technical Skills
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and ability to use the Internet for research and communication. Web site management is a plus.
